Just a fluffed up Woody, taken through the window. Oh, and I know it's a female as the male had just finished bowing and cooing at her.

Collapsed under It's own weight? No this Wood Pigeon gets down on It's belly to reach nuts that have gone under the dead branch - might then be to heavy to get up again.

I thought I'd upload a Woody for change. There's a few of these using my garden for a boxing ring ATM. These can be quite aggressive when mating, so I'm not sure whether it's males attacking males or not. Through the window as usual.

Poor light this morning and I hadn't cleaned the windows, so not much detail in this bird, but I like the rather stern expression on this odd looking Woody. Taken through the window.

Taken yesterday morning in the garden. The BG was completely white so I have added some colour.

spotted 15 Wood pigeon's landing in thid tree so i got a coulpe of images this is the best of them. taken on thursday at the back of the local morrison store on laceby rd grimsby.

This is our local friendly Woodie who quite often drops in and uses the perch. But caught him here having a stretch.

I can't help it. I like Woodpigeons.

A lot of people think they are pests but I think they look beautiful!

I'm convinced that Wood Pigeons quite like water. I was early into Slimbridge and caught this one. It may have been sleeping on the water.

Not many birds about but there are always Woodpigeons at Slimbridge. They may be a bit of a pest but I think they look great.
