The single Wood Pigeon appears to have brought three friends along with him (he was sitting on his usual fence watching the roof action).
Do you think he was trying to decide which of them to pair up with?;)

Sorry I didn't finish browsing last night - I had the most awful sinusitis...
This was taken during one of the worst showers(?) of snow on the 1st March. It was more like a blizzard with the high wind.
My Pigeons were absolutely determined to sit it out!!!
Is it funny....? Dunno really, but thought I'd offer it up for Saturday Fun.
TTTW (well I sure weren't opening it...
...... or Over My Head
Taken on my walk along the river at the end of April, just before my holiday.
Couldn't believe I'd get a pair of pigeons sitting like this and not see either of their heads at all. That isn't even a bill on the right hand one, it's a bit of the tree overhanging.
.... or I did it!
.... or Taking the plunge (thanks Jim)
I saw this pigeon land on the shed but have to be so careful as they fly at the least movement.
He walked to the corner of the roof and I just knew he was going to fly down to the feed on the ground. So... I waited and clicked.... waited...
.... or Telly Communications
Normally I only see a single Wood Pigeon, but three appeared that day. This was the only image I got, as immediately after two of them flew off.
Why couldn't they have faced me, or at least given me an over-the-shoulder pose like they'd have done for everyone else...
I was impressed by how long time they were kissing each other, compared to the very short bird "act". Notice how considerate she is - spreading her wings so he will not fall off. :loveme:
I doubt they knew today was Sweden's National Day!
