I heard this guy loooong before I saw him. He was pretty deep off the trail, and I scanned the trees several times. Finally, I caught his silhouette. Hiding in plain sight. He was around 30 yards or so off the trail. Plain looking guy with a pretty and complex song.

I have another image of this bird showing its orange nape. It also shows the bottom of the bold white eye ring. I only mention this because I had questions about its ID.
Didn't get much when out yesterday so posting this Wood Thrush from Magee Marsh, Ohio trip last month. Got to see 4 different Thrushes there, unfortunately only got to photograph 2 of them.
Still processing some photos from Ohio trip to Magee Marsh. along with warblers also saw 3 different Thrushes plus both waterthrushes.

I get serenaded every morning and evening by a pair of wood thrushes but I so rarely get to see them. They have such a beautiful song that to hear them is a delight and to catch a glimpse is just icing on the cake.
This bird looked a bit heavy on the belly.
I was taking some shots of a female Hermit Thrush until it flew away. I was about to leave, when this bird landed in the same brush and posed for me. This was my first chance ever to photograph a Wood Thrush.
