    This little one entertained me for more than an hour. Thats how long it took me to get a decent shot of him.A pleasant hour mind you,he kept on singing all the time.

    Theyve just arrived! Not as common as the willow warbler,but if you know their typical song,they are not hard to find. It sounds like as if you flip a coin on a glass surface.

    A wander around Cannock Chase uncovered a very showy displaying male Wood Warbler. Pity his ability as a vocalist wasn't matched by the photographers ability to get the exposure right. Still, first ever Wood Warbler image for me so I'm not complaining too much.
