After his triumph over a rival (Last Wren Post) he strutted the logs like the Cock of the Walk.
The one constant apart from the usual Tits Just love watching them scuttle in and out taking the occasional bath and boy do they make a slash LOL.
Sang the rolling Stones, and this aggressive little Wren was not having another one close.

Referring to the Hawthorn that I keep in check round the bottom of the Oak Tree as well as the pose of the Wren. Keeping the bush trimmed it makes ideal cover for lots of the bird especially the Dunnock, Wren and Blackbirds although all the Tit family that visit use it as an escape route. I was...
Basking and having a dust bath in the sunshine "where has that gone" I was watching this performing this ritual behind some Nettles that had over grown by the pool, so I went out and chopped them down. Fortunately for me the Wren came back and went through its routine again.
Had a wonderful time down the Wood chasing this little short tailed beauty in and out of the logs, think it was teasing me. Can understand why they are called Troglodytes as it would show at the entrance of some holes and just sit with its head out, but eventually I managed this image.
Very mixed weather here, not two bad Saturday but still got caught in the rain, did not seem to bother the birds though, what I call an 800 asa day. At the moment quite cloudy with some sunshine breaking through so feeding time regardless.
Catch up later.
