I spotted this young yellow headed caracara in a park in Cali Colombia. I thought for a momment he wasn't a yellow headed caracara and he was instead some other adult raptor, but my guide book helped me clear things up. Lol.

This slight-built raptor is becoming increasingly common in Trinidad & has also now colonised Tobago. It is a carrion-eater which benefits from cattle-ranching & roadkills.
