A yellow-legged gull poses for a crowd of tourists at the Forum in Rome. Processed for tone and saturation, maybe a little too much.

So embarrassing. This one had tried to make a simple jump from the wall on the left to the bannister on the right ... and missed :-O So this week my Saturday Fun joke is poking fun at the bird, for once, not the birder ;) Posting now, since it's almost Saturday already. Also posting in spite...

This one had picked a dominant viewpoint - quite appropriate to the spot, as the Montjuic Castle was placed so as to keep Barcelona's unruly populace under control.

There were quite a few Yellow-legged Gulls along the steps up to Montjuic, on the side facing the sea. This one had struck a very dignified pose.

A newbie for me, and a newbie for our Norfolk Broads list...Our last day on the water today Peeps, then off to a cottage in Wells on the North Norfolk Coast tomorrow morning.
