    A lifer for me. Found a new birding spot today, about 20 min driving from my house. It's an old big farmland. The person I met there said they let people get in for walks, photography, bike riding, any day, any time. Only rule is do not enter with a vehicle. So I let my car on the dirt road...

    Here you can see where its name comes from. Well.... partially. Although it is not possible to see from this photo, it was near the marsh.

    As its own name suggests, this Icterid is typical of marsh vegetation. Unfortunately it can't be seen in this photo, but this flock was quite near the marsh. They were initially in 5 individuals, feeding on the grass.
