    Usually the 1st or 2nd warbler to arrive back in Spring, this one was loudly proclaiming his territory in a local wood in early May.

    I would no sooner focus on the Warbler and the branch to the left of him would sway in the breeze and cover his face. I don't normally get to see these guys come into breeding plumage. They have usually moved on before their face develops the mask.

    i was trying to get photos of red winged blackbirds displaying...this yellow rump almost landed on my head it was great...i just pointed up and shot from this cool angle....

    This is only the second warbler I have been successful in digiscoping. They certainly aren't digiscoping material. Way too flighty and they don't often perch on a clear view limb.
