About a dozen of these guys arrived on Friday but sticking close to the perimeters of the yard as they always do on first arrival. Shortly, they will move in closer. This was taken with the lens full out.
This flock of what I use to call 'Myrtle Warblers', gave me many photo opportunities. It was hard to pick out the first. This one is not the most pleasing because of harsher light on the subject, but I felt that it showed most of the markings the best. In time I'm sure I'll post others.

Had a fabulous afternoon in Iona. Non-stopping rain for 4 hours. Just put down a small stool, sat there, holding up an umbrella, and shoot... loads of YRW came, sometimes very close to me, LOL!

Looks like a Yellow-Rumped Warbler with signs of breeding colors. Other pics showed no yellow on top of the head (yet?). 100% crop, a little too much sharpening.
