We're at my sister-in-law's in Skne for a week so posts may be sporadic but her Internet is faster than at work. There's a story everybody tells which I suppose was on the news that when the migrating birds came to the south of Sweden they saw the snow and promptly turned back again...
The bird was sitting in the shade with the background strongly lit. I did not liked how it was looking but because the bird let me get close I took a couple of shots.
Now I like the background and this is the main reason for uploading the photo.
I do not know why this yellowhammer has chosen this pile of old bricks to perform its song. For me it was a good choice as it was near the road and in full sun. My wife stoped the car near the bird, I took several shots and we left letting the bird undisturbed performing its song.
