Hi Peeps,
A bit late on parade this morning. My son and his family have left for their journey back to the States, missing em already. Hazel has gone to Southampton to babysit Maggie for a couple of days. I'm left home alone, but I've just had the "Sky" bloke here for...
Well Peeps,
I managed a walk over Lakenheath Warren yesterday, see some good birds. The weather could've been kinder to me, sunny one minute, cloudy the next. I just managed to get back in before it rattled down like a good un, so much for summer then.
My thanks to my guide for the day Roy C who was a gracious host while I was in Devon last week. Shame about the weather mate but was good to finally meet you at least. :t:
Quite a heavy crop here.
After spending over 4 hours walking on Lakenheath Warren with the Yellowhammer my target bird, I see a couple, but both at a distance. Ready to give up and decided to walk back home, I got out onto the road, and this un showed in the gorse quite close.
Yammer in the bush, as best as I couuld get last time, but I will be going back to the Heath for a few days on thursday, so hoping to get one out in the open.
