Well yes . . . . he's a bit of a dandy!

Was out first thing this morning looking for Wood Warbler in my local Oak Woods.Sadly they have dissapeared from there and I had none singing at all.I did bump into this guy though which is a species I have never seen around here before.

Just about my favourite bird at the moment this male was posing brilliantly.

This guy looked brilliant singing in the sunshine on top of the gorse, one of my favourite birds I think.

I've been after a photo of one of these beauties for ages! I'm either way too far away or I don't have my camera with me. Well, today, I had my camera and this lovely fellow was calling to his mate from this tree. I daren't get any closer without spooking him so I'm afraid it's a heavy crop and...
