Another shot of the Yammer taken at Lakenheath.

Had a nice couple of hours yesterday evening, walking over Lakenheath Warren with one of my brothers. Lots of stuff about, but I couldn't get near anything much at all, but I still enjoyed my Bro's company, and got some good exercise in at the same time.

Even a two-note yellowhammer can be enthusiastic about singing. |:D|

I don't see these very often on my Patch, so this one today was very welcome. Singing his little head off in the hot sunshine.

Just got back from a few days climbing in North Wales with the wife.This guy sang every morning just behind our caravan so had to get a pic of him.

My 1st Yellowhammer seen and image taken, best of a bad job, but its my 1st, had everything when taken pics of this bird Cloudy, Rain, Wind etc, better luck next time....

A long overdue garden visitor. Have been expecting one to turn up since the bad weather started as they are fairly common nearby. Number 50 on my garden bird list. Think i'm gonna struggle for any additional species, but i live in hope of a visit from a Green Woodpecker.

Glowing in the sunshine. These birds must be such obvious targets for sprawks.
