    It is interesting to observe the different behaviors between the young and the old. These two stayed in place long enough for me to, see them together in the backyard, observe them for a bit, slowly wander inside, grab a camera, change batteries, grab a beer(was 32C) Parents were fluttering...

    This is on the same property where I took all the bird bath photos last year. But too much water everywhere for the bath to be needed yet! Feeding on the flower spike of a grass-tree.

    This was one of my dream birds when I was in Turkey. I am still trying to get a good shot and there are tens of them around nowadays. But they are not staying on same branch more than a second :)

    Silvereye (juvenile) Now the Silvereyes have turned up with fledglings - and their babies rival those of the Pardalotes for sheer cuteness. This bird looks as though it should be sat in an Easter basket.
