05/06/2021 - Central Park, New York City - Immature Baltimore Oriole? (1 Viewer)

I saw this oriole in Central Park today. To me, the markings match a male Baltimore oriole. But, the color is yellow rather than orange. Do you think this is an immature Baltimore [edit: molting to adult possibly]? Leucistic? Some other species?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
Scott

Speak softly and carry a long lens
Could be an adult female - they can have brownish heads and the harsh light here will make it look darker.

When looking at orioles one should double-check the species. I think I see a little orange on the breast - good for Baltimore but not Orchard.

Thank you so much. I'm always amazed by how other people look at my photos and see markings I didn't even notice while zoomed in to full size on my screen.
