Nailing my subject was a little harder as i was starting off at 40x instead of 25x however view was bright and contrast was great.zooming in to 96x i found in the dull lighting conditions and shallow depth of field  view was not that great and the slightest movement of scope showed significant vibration on subject, which is to be expected.Now I'm no expert that's for sure just giving my honest observations, this is my first and only scope Ive ever owned and i love it. Do i think the 1.6 extender worth it.......yes i do, I'm just being picky and need to test the extender in more favorable conditions.Like i said lighting was very poor however when i did focus just right i could see droplets of water on the feathers and details i wouldn't normally see for the distance.</blockquote>
