From what we know, the Kowa combo has a little weaker transmission performance than your combo probably has, but the 8mm aperture advantage should compensate for this. More importantly in my view, the larger objective results in 10% smaller Airy disks or, 10% better resolution at identical magnifications, and this becomes quite obvious at high magnifications. So, it would be possible to go 10% higher in magnification before similar lack of detail becomes apparent.Kimmo</blockquote>
