Hi everyone!
I´m in the early stages of planning a trip to Tanzania/Zanzibar with my family next year. The "main event" will be a 6 days safari (probably including Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Natron, Lake Manyara). This will not be a "bird focused" trip, although I'm asking the safari operators for a somewhat customized itinerary and a guide with good bird knowledge if possible...
That said, I've "negotiated" with my wife a day specifically for birding after the safari while she stays by the pool in Arusha.
The idea would be to maximize the number of new species seen, given that I will have been on a safari for 6 days before and expect to already have seen quite a few.
So I'm asking for help with two things:
Thanks in advance!
Paulo.

So I'm asking for help with two things:
- Places to visit/ itinerary around Arusha to somehow "complement" my list after a 6 day safari, so possibly some different habitats.
- Recommendations regarding a good local guide to help me achieve the goal above.
Thanks in advance!
