I use 42mm objective covers from Swarovski on mine. I got them years ago. They fit perfectly. Not too tight and not to loose--go on and off easily and they have sturdy attachments to fit on the tubes so you won't lose them. Just be sure to anchor them behind the rubber objective guards on the front of the objective tubes so you won't pull them off when you remove the objective covers. Part # 643-952A.

I never had any problem with the eye cups cover Nikon supplied with it. It fits loosely but that is the way I like it to fit. I don't want it crushing the soft rubber eye cups it has.

Thanks Bob, that's very helpful. Sadly, I need the actual eyecups as well. Existing cups are sort of serrated so I'm hoping to replace them. Maybe bat wing models for the kids :>)

Eagle optics sells the Swarovski objective covers and Swarovski winged eye cups which might stretch over the eye cups on your SE. Try contacting them about it.

field optics wings will fit on also. they won't give much eye relief, unfortunately, but will help with side glare.

we have butler creek covers on the objectives. a bit snug to get on and we've decided not to try removing them.

I had not seen the bellows style eyecups before, it's an interesting thought as a possible continuously variable height for an eyecup.
