I guess I must give a go as an ex-parttime cajun, though I am not an ex-pert in Odonata ;) : Erythemis simplicicollis (green clearwing). Someone who can see green colour can possibly confirm or unconfirm...

I'm a rank amateur to odes but I agree with Karwin's Id.
Common name here in States is Eastern Pondhawk.
