This spring was the first time I ever put up a hummingbird feeder on my patio. It took about 3 weeks but at least one Ruby-throat found my feeder. This is big for me because I've never seen more than a split second glimpse of a hummingbird on the east coast of the US. I've seen plenty of them one the west coast and in Costa Rica. This was the first time I've been able to actually watch one for more than a nano second in New York. Hope he comes back, I'll try to get some photos.
