2CY Herring Gull? (Guernsey) (1 Viewer)

Hi - was just sent these by my nephew in Guernsey who wanted to check if this was a 2CY Herring Gull. None of the photos I've found online show a white tail band like this...
I'd be grateful for expert advice - apologies if this is a silly question - I struggle with gulls!!
