ok here are the two shots of the waders which were flying towards me, any ideas of what they might be as what I think they are still hasn't been said.

Grey Ploved
Red Phalarope
Common Sandpiper
Sanderling
Dunlin
Black Winged Stilt!

A very wide range of waders there and yet the bird i think they are is more common than all of them

Well that is what I though Adam but tbh i'm not so sure anymore, would be a very large ruff flock for my area if thats what they were

Well as has just been pointed out I dont think they are Redshank but for all i assumed they were Ruff they should show toe projection and it does seem rather a large flock for ruff so I'm a bit stumped.
