Ok thanks once again Tim for taking the time to answer my questions and put me right. You are right of course and you have basically pointed out to me something I should have thought about a little more. I am expecting too much from the 100% image and small sensor of the 7D, and yes perhaps I am too obsessed with pixels and how sharp my images are at 100%. For anyone looking at this thread, and considering buying a 7D, I hope I haven’t put you off. You are probably less picky than I am anyway and I would recommend one certainly, unless you have the money for a camera from the pro range 1D**. The AL Servo for flying birds, tracks very well and other futures not mentioned in this thread are very good. I have used the external flash control a little too and it works brilliantly, I am looking forward to using this for Badger photography. The HD video seems good too (See the DSLR video thread) and of course 18 million pixels give you plenty of scope for cropping. I got mine from Simply electronic for £1069.95 which seems one of the cheapest prices around. If I take a step back and look at some of the pictures I have taken with this camera in the few weeks I have had it, then there are some that I should be happy with, I’ve attached some which should fit into that category and I hope you agree (they are all cropped and edited in variouse ways). What they would look like blown up to 39" across and viewed from 12" away is another matter, but it’s also probably irrelevant. ;) Thanks
