My EL is nice, feels a little harder one way than the other. But the FL is just incredible. Big fat rubbery feeling knob, takes a fair bit of force, but almost no takeoff or landing stick, easy to make very fine adjustments, and a good thing because the ratio is ultra quick. The result is, I get focused on the bird quickest with the Zeiss. I like my bricks a lot though. They're not very bright, but something about the view  goes "pow". Golly I hope Leica doesn't go under. They have pushed the envelope a lot of ways, and continually refine their products. Maybe I ought to help them out...Ron</blockquote>
