I've had both the 8x32 BN and currently have the 8x32 BR. I appreciate the compromise Leica made in the design... it's a relatively slow focus (unlike the incredibly quick focus of the Zeiss 8x32FL which I couldn't be rid of quickly enough) and works the same in very cold as it does in warm temps. I typically use my bins in temps well below 0F and really appreciate my Leica's. Both my 7x30 and 8x30 Swaro's would become incredibly sluggish in cold temps. Nothing wrong with that, I just prefer the consistency of Leica design more.</blockquote>
