Yes, 6 birds: five Great Tits and a Coal Tit.

I also thought that at first Nick however looking more closely the bird in question is a Great Tit if a little hidden from view.

Great! To be honest, all I can say is that it was a medium size owl. Long-eared Owl it's a good option, but my first idea was Tawny Owl...
The pic was taken with a Canon PowerShot S3 camera, using the built-in flash, ISO 800...
