A pipit and a raptor ID, outside of Kathmandu (Nepal) - Dec 2022 (1 Viewer)

Hi,

I took these photos yesterday (Dec, 10th) but the quality of the photos is very bad and I just tried to increase brightness, so maybe the identification would be possible. For the pipit, I think the most probable one is Olive-backed but not sure.

Raptor looks like a juvenile White-tailed Eagle

I agree the Pipit is Olive-backed - the diagnostic face pattern is just visible.

White-tailed eagle is rare in Nepal. This looks like an aquila eagle to me - greater spotted?
