I saw this also Andy. It must be amazing to see!

Context is all isn’t it. Where I am in the Midlands I an excited by a couple of godwits. Then I go on holiday and visit e.g. Frampton Marsh and see hundreds!
 
Just wonderful!
Especially for a species that is under pressures from all sorts of challenges.
Hope that this becomes a more frequent event, rather than a one off!

Because we all orient ourselves with reference to the nearest royal residence. :)
