My main problem was that I'd been lazy and got up late, and so there wouldn't have been enough light left to make it out to their favoured area. The hotspot is roughly halfway along the 21km Border Track between O'Reilly's and Binna Burra Lodge, so you'd really need to get up early to be able to spend a good amount of time there. I think that they may present slightly closer to Binna Burra than O'Reilly's though, so staying there may be your best option. Once you get to the right areas you'll almost certainly hear a few (depending on time of year perhaps) but getting a glimpse  is a different matter - good luck if you attempt it!</blockquote>
