Sadly that one was used for "V" Kenneth: See the first post for the updated list:

EDIT: I know it's a bit complicated with the harder letters. Any ideas on a better way to organise that list...... ?

I'd suggest the common names be listed alphabetically, can't do anything to Q having discovered some old photos of a hen quail and her chicks.
I've seen this game played with each day being devoted to a letter, day 1 a, 2, b and so on, or end of the bird's word, where the last letter becomes the first of the next post eg starting with Robin, then Nuthatch, and so on

Mmmm... I have been trying to do that since ET abandoned us ;). However, should our 'Jay' be listed under J or E (Eurasian Jay) for instance... same issue with numerous of our species. It could have been played on either of these letters. Or should it be listed under both letters?

I don't think we want to change this game at this stage. But keep those ideas for later games when this one (and the other game which is currently running - Name a bird you've seen) have run out of steam.
