Accipiter gundlachi wileyi Wotzkow, 1991 OD here

Etymology: To associate this new taxon with the name of Dr. James W. Wiley is only just recognition of one who has contributed so enormously to the study of raptors in Cuba.

The Eponym Dictionary of Birds claims:
Gundelach's Hawk ssp. Accipiter gundlachi wileyi Wotzkow, 1991 James W. Wiley is an American ornithologist who is a Research Associate at the Western Foundation of Vertebrate Zoology, Camarillo, California. He was at the US National Biological Survey (1996) and the University of Maryland (2004). He has a particular interest inthebirds of the Caribbean, and wrote Ornithology in Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands (1996).

Others puplications are e.g.
  • Juan Cristóbal Gundlach's contributions to the knowledge of Puerto Rican birds and his influence on the development of natural history in Puerto Rico
  • Gerald H. Thayer's ornithological work in St Vincent and the Grenadines, Lesser Antilles

The old Key:
Dr James W. Wiley (1943-2018) US ornithologist (subsp. Accipiter gundlachii).

Surely in harmony with here. His full name James (Jim) Warren Wiley according here.
