Hi!

I possibly ran into a Levante Sparrowhawk today in Epirus, Greece, on the banks of the river Tyria. Did not see the bird, just heard it. First I thought of a European hobby which I have seen close by some times, but I could have been wrong. A nest in a leave-less plane tree very close by, in tjr nesz also fresh green leaves, which could be a good hint for Levante Sparrowhawk I guess. Honey buzzard also in area but this nest proves uncommon for Honey Buzzard, being open high in tree. Any thoughts on this one?

Thank you,

Fabian
