Got a copy on order. Not a book I particularly need, but one I think could be quite interesting given the species covered - though if the photos are only of the open wings (like the recent European book of a similar sort) it will be of rather more limited use than I expect it to be for me (not being a ringer). However, a limited need has not stopped me buying too many books in the past.

When were you first aware of this title?

It's only just popped up on Wildsounds so it's new to me.

It's been on this website since june https://www.naturbokhandeln.se and you could sign up to hear when it was published. Certainly been mentioned a bit on twitter as well the last few months. Having seen examples of their work in British Birds in the last years i can't wait for this.
The main supplier of books and equipment in the Netherlands has got it for a sale at a reasonable price incl postage https://www.veldshop.nl/en/
Cheers

Think it must have been via Twitter, maybe around 2 months ago or so with a link to the website linked by James. Hadn't heard anything more about it until it popped up again maybe 2 weeks ago on NHBS. I didn't order it straight away but within a few days I succumbed to temptation (on 5th September) while ordering a couple of other books.

Got my copy an hour or so ago. Very nice book - definitely likely to be of limited use to myself, not being a ringer or someone who frequents the northern islands (though quite a few of the species covered have shown up on the east coast this week or so) or even bothers too much trying to age birds. The photos are very nice and overall it looks 'nicer' than the recent European equivalent. There is a short section in the back which gives details on separating some of the similar species which may come in handy 1 day (hopefully!).
