agree with Butty.
Please note, that the last picture has at least one Dunlin. Black belly patch is unique, but I am sure this wasnt the bird you asked for.

Do you have more pictures of the Godwit? I dont have strong arguments, but gut feeling is a Bar-tailed Godwit:
after downloading and brightening, I think I can make out the right stripy pattern on the upperparts, although worn and bleached. Or is it wishful thinking?
Is the extensive pale cheek better for a Bar-tailed? I am not sure.
