[QUOTE="longboat, post: 3263599, member: 129532"] Strap - I have yet to find a comfortable strap. The factory versions are usually too thin and dig into your neck. Aftermarket ones can have thick 2" neoprene attached that, while taking pressure off your neck, feels way too thick and big, like you're wearing some kind of large dog collar. X-harness - I like these in cooler temps, below 60F. Problem is that much of my viewing is in warm/hot weather, where the X-harness has me sweating (or at least the perception of sweating) a lot more than using a neck strap. I think the best option for smaller binos would be some kind of quick-draw belt holster, something a little more "macho" than a fanny pack, and a little quicker to get to the binos. To be well done, these would probably have to be made by the original manufacturer, and would add cost as well as some liability for the butter-fingered users. Maybe the rick young harness would be more comfortable in hot weather than the typical webbing... I dunno. Doesn't seem like there is a perfect solution out there. I think Optec makes a setup where you can use either a harness or strap, with interchangeable connectors (although they also sell different-sized connectors, so buyer beware) - might be an option to try...
