Lookin' for a Scooby Snack
We live in North Dakota, and heard a really neat song coming from outside, and I managed to snap a couple of photos. The bird reminds us a little bit of R2D2!

It's quite small, like the size of a sparrow. I would appreciate any help on the ID and hope to get a clearer photos of this bird in the days to come.

Thanks in advance -

Scoobs

Birds have a "forked" larynx called a syrinx. They can actually sing two different notes at once. Bobolinks make excellent use of this ability.
