Have been thrilled to see a bald eagle twice in the last few days here in North East Ohio.Been babysitting my daughters dogs and fish at their home outside of Kent,Ohio. There are 4 lakes nearby and a few bogs.Across the street from my daughters house is a lake and I have see this eagle flying around it.The neighbors say there is a nest in the area.Growing up in Akron in the late 50's with all the Rubber companies producing tires the air was always sooty and the smell of the plants hung in the air.The only known eagle nests were located on the shores of lake Erie. Now that the tire companies have move to other states the air and environment have improved and the eagle population is growing. These have been my favorite bird to see on visits to zoo's and I'm excited to see these beautiful birds in their natural setting.
