Placed two shots of this on ObsIdentify, first one came back as an unknown Micro and the second as a Riband Wave, am wondering if it might be a variation on a theme of Grass Emerald?

Cheers

Both look to be Riband Waves to me.

Yes, I can see where you’re coming from with RW and I get an awful lot of them, however the ground colour was a muted emerald.
I’ve not seen one of that tonal value before, perhaps it’s an ageing wear process?

Cheers

Did you take the pics near your trap with the light on? If so, that might explain it - many things look green in that light.

No, I took them in daylight on the ground at 8.30am (no trap light on), the green tone is actual and not influenced by anything other than the aforesaid.
