Any bird guide for Ghana? (1 Viewer)

Hello everyone! Could you recommend me some books to identify Ghanaian birds? I am planning on visiting the country on my own and I would like to start taking a look to the birds I might find there.

For the moment, the option that convinces me the most is Birds of Ghana (Helm Field Guides) by Nik Borrow and Ron Demey.

However, I wanted to ask you if there are any other interesting options, either guides to Ghana-only species or guides to larger regions that cover more countries (for example, I have seen books on Western Africa or other regions and you might consider them better options for including better illustrations or because I might use these books in other future trips to nearby countries, etc.

The one you link to is the best, and has the same author and illustrator as the Birds of West Africa. The Ghana book is obviously lighter, but if you think you might be visiting other west African countries in the near future maybe you can put up with the extra weight,
