Hello,

Got this little beauty in a marshy area in the dunes on the east coast, reed and scattered bushes. I've probably been looking in the wrong section in my Collins guide, any way I can't get anywhere near it, any offers gratefully accepted.

Well I'm chuffed, it's obviously a lifer for me and I hard too work quite hard to get those photos.

Looking at my guide again ( I'm glad to say i was in the right section) I'd still have trouble connecting the two. I expected the black markings on the wing and shoulder to be more prominent than they are in the photos, and at no time did I see dark spots on the under side of the tail. Thats not to say I doubt the ID, indeed I'm cock a hoop with the ID, it just shows the problems of Id when comparing sketches and photos and the fact that I'm bloody useless at it!!

Thanks, you've really made my day, hope nobody comes along and pooh poohs it!!
