Great morning light in both, and pose in pic 1.

I've known of their eating behaviours (food on spikes and such) and awhile ago got the chance to see a sort of food stash... far away and with bad light.

Still, the the male having dinner is very nice. Looking at the surrounding vegetation the photo looks like it is not taken in summer, am I right?

Ospreys

A couple of Ospreys demonstrating their fishing skills. They stayed around, hovering and diving until one caught a pike of decent size, then they went off. Wish the action had taken place closer, and softer light as well (there are midday shots).

No, it was taken this June, thus technically it's summer...though it did not feel that way ;-)

The vegetation (perch his standing on) are "left overs" from trees and bushes that were cut down since big power lines cut through the forest here. With my leaf camo, I was able to get veery close and got unnoticed.

great series, indeed!

Had the opportunity this weekend to try to get two of those on film (sd-card). No luck for me though, they mostly were high up and sun behind.

Sparrowhawks

Falsterbo, many Sparrowhawks around heading south. These fast subjects are just perfect for honing the focusing skills.

Arctic Tern

A different composition for a change. The scope optics must have quite efficient coating considering the lack of glare shooting at this angle.

Osprey

This guy showed up at low altitude from a direction I wasn't expecting. It would have been a nice one if it hadn't been for the EVF lag...

Gotten pretty far behind in my "work" and have a lot of catching up to do. Here just one from last week, 90/600 on the E-M1.
