Doing some research on the Augur Buzzard around Lake Naivasha. Is there any annual bird counts in the area or in Africa where we can look at the population densities over the years. Thanks for any help.

There are water bird counts every year on all major lakes . re the Augur Buzzard suugest you contact The ornithologial dept of The National Museums who kkep the atlas of records.

Augur Buzzards easily seen around the Hells Gate reserve near Lake Naivasha but sadly I know of no research concerning numbers.
