That was scary, Lydia.

Mainly sunny here with the occasional short shower. Only 17c though.

Sunny morning, overcast for an hour or so at lunchtime, and then back to sunshine. 20°c.

No no Gill, we haven't had much of a Summer at all.|:(|
I hope we get an Indian Summer here.|:d|

Yes, from various internet sites I go on it seems that the only place to have had any decent weather this year has been Northumberland! :t: Since the end of May it has been FAR too hot and muggy. We've had the occasional heavy rain shower but certainly not anything to call bad weather :king: I don't think Brian will have been a 'Wet Birder' much this summer ;)

So......you all know where to come for your holidays next year ;) o:)

Saturday's weather was hot hot hot!!! I was doing a bit of shopping for my holiday in a week's time...cannot wait!!!

Disappointingly overcast early on in the day, but by late morning, these clouds show what a great day we had.

Hi Lydia - hope that you Tornado {weather} was short lived. Not good to have that weather type around. Be even better whne I have my Boradband up so I can answer you posts more fully her on x-beeb or otherwise.

Weather in Bedford is here is here, and there. We have had humid weather over the past few days - not to say that there have been threatening thunder and lightening storms. So hot means storms to me.

So today has been sunny in the morning and now is cloding over as I speak.

Loads of Sparrows, Chaffinches, plus others as I type. I have just fed them.

It's been very hot and muggy today and I was absolutely sweltering at work :smoke: God bless the person who invented the electric fan!!! :t:

By 4pm it was clouding over a touch and as I walked home at 5.30pm the rain was starting to fall steadily. It's a lot cooler now and more bearable :king:
