Yellow-plumed was what I expected someone to say, but neither are right. I hoped that the presence of streaks on the chest would have made it more obvious. Another image:

Here it is. All birds were found in Bunyip (but two were taken elsewhere in the vicinity).

Some are fairly easy, others not so. Let's hope it lasts a little longer than the previous.

I tried to make it look a little organized in the time I had.

You got some right, but I don't want it to fade in less than a day!

These are the correct ones:
2. Eastern Yellow Robin
3.Lewin's Honeyeater
4. Beautiful Firetail
8. Pallid Cuckoo

The tail on 1 should be diagnostic, if that helps at all.

I'll have a go -
1) I *think* its a robin.....I'll try Scarlet
5) oh boy...........White-throated Treecreeper?
6) Grey Fantail
7) Yellow-faced Honeyeater
Not really sure on any of them though!
