Australian Ibis (1 Viewer)

Actually, would it be appropriate to add things about how they are currently being studied through a ringing campaign in the NSW are?

A chap at the University of Wollongong is tracking AWIs around the place based on sightings of ringed birds. He's got a page about it here:
http://www.birdsinbackyards.net/surveys/ibis.cfm (although the email address is wrong on that page, if you're thinking of reporting some).

I've been having fun checking up on banded birds in the area and I'm starting to get to know some of the local 'swamp chooks' now.
