[Austria] Dead bird on the terrace (1 Viewer)

This morning I had a shock when I saw this little guy on my terrace.

One question is what type of bird this is and, more importantly, how can something like this happen?
Did someone (maybe a crow?) disturb the nest or does this occasionally happen "naturally"?

Look straight up from where you found DLG and you might spot his nest. The nest shape and location will be a clue to the bird's species. At this age the babies all look the same to me.
Babies do sometimes crawl out of nests on their own, but this one is particularly young (eyes not open yet) so I'm not sure if he's strong enough to lift himself yet. My guess would be that he was pushed out, by a very aggressive older sibling, or, more likely, by a cuckoo hatchling.
