Encantada de las avecitas que veo a diario.
1 January 2011:

-Imm male Rose-breasted Grosbeak
-my Female Ruby Throated
-female Baltimore Oriole
-Townsend's warbler, male and female
-3 pairs house sparrows
-EW Pewee - return visitor
-Black Vulture fly over
-Rock Pigeon fly over (2)
-Wilson's Warbler
-Rufous-collared Sparrow (6)
-2 female, 1 male Great-tailed Grackle

All in the back lot/on the patio. Lots of action in the birdbaths!

2 January 2011:

-Female Rufous-collared Robin - hadn't seen one in a while!
-My buddy, female Ruby throated in her usual routine
-5 Rufous collared Sparrows
-Great-tailed Grackle, 1 female 2 male
-Two pairs of house sparrows

Heard the Melodious Blackbirds all day!

All in the back lot/on the patio. Frequent Grackle baths.

3 January 2011

Little time to watch for birds today (first day back at work). Saw the following in the back lot:

-Two Melodious Blackbirds (foraging on ground)
-2 male, 1 female Great Tailed Grackle
-3 Rufous-collared Sparrows
-pair of House Sparrows

4 January:

-Female Rose-breasted Grosbeak (Sra. Degollado) in the tree when I got home
-2 Black Vultures flying overhead
-Grackles: two males in the trees, 4 females taking baths on the patio
-4 pairs of House Sparrows
-Wood-Pewee in back lot
-Female ruby throated hummer at the feeder, didn't see her in the tree
-2 Melodious in back lot foraging
-12 Rufous-collared Sparrows all drinking at once in the baths with one male House Sparrow
-Yellow Warbler
-Wilson's Warbler

5 January:

Busy day around the house!

-Eastern Bluebird - 2 male, 1 female - looks like my July babies are back
-Great-tailed Grackle - many all over; had max of 8 males and 4 females in sight at any one time
-Melodious Blackbirds - 3 foraging in the back lot
-Rufous-collared Robin - 1 female
-Rufous-collared Sparrow - 4
-Ruby-throated Hummingbird - my lady pal drinking and hunting as usual
-Yellow Warbler - 1 female
-Wilson's Warbler - 1
-Common Ground Dove - two on neighbor's terrace
-Rock Dove - two flew overhead
-Black Vulture - three few overhead
-House Sparrow - just one pair today
-Rose-breasted Grosbeaks - two females visible at the same time
-Northern Flicker - one handsome, noisy male foraging in back lot
