Baader hyperion zoom new adapters available (1 Viewer)

Baader have recently added some new adapters to allow the hyperion zoom to

be used on some more spotting scopes,

Baader is doing six new adapters at present, to connect the Mark IV onto

several scopes having flgw. male threads:

T-2 (M42x0.75)/M48x0.75 /
M44x1 (Leica/Zeiss-Jena)/
M41.5x1 Bausch&Lomb/Opticron /
M41-1 1/4" (KOWA 770/880 to mount the Morpheus lineup) /
M53/M54 (KOWA 770/880 to thread the Zoom onto the KOWA 770/880)

the above information was given to me by Baader who authorised me to publish it.

I have used the 41.5mm adapter to put the hyperion zoom onto a bausch

and lomb HDR60 scope , I did have a opticron HDF zoom on it but after

putting the hyperion zoom on it , it was like transforming the scope into a

65mm one as the view was wider.

I also used the 41.5 mm adapter to put the hyperion zoom onto a kowa tsn-2

which made the viewing more comfortable with a excellent image from min

to max.

I have used a 42mm adapter to attach a hyperion zoom to a japanese draw

scope, it was a 30x75 scope but the name disc unscrews to show a 42mm

thread so when the eyepiece is unscrewed ( which it does so easily) the

baader zoom can be put onto the 42mm threads using the baader 42mm

The scope did give internal reflections using the zoom but I did manage to

reduce them considerably ( although not 100%) using a cardboard disc !!
